Our physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistant have dedicated their time to the practice of family medicine. They are also board-certified and available to provide a variety of facets in family medicine.
Our front office staff is well trained and concerned about every patient receiving the best care possible. They are willing to help you with your registration, scheduling, prescription refills and insurance needs. Every effort will be made to answer all your questions in a timely manner.
We are affiliated with the Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center and Lancaster Regional Medical Center for your in-patient needs and area specialists if care.
Peter Hurtubise, D.O.
Dr. Hurtubise moved his family to Lancaster in 1997 to start his family medicine practice. He has maintained an active presence in the community serving on several community health boards including, Medical Consultant for Head Start of Lancaster County and the Lancaster Osteopathic Health Foundation.
Dr. Hurtubise firmly believes that family practice does not end in the office visit but continues seamlessly within the Lancaster community. He is trained in acupuncture, geriatrics, drug and alcohol treatment as well as sports medicine. He has been actively involved in the Board of Executives for the Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center and has been a trainer in the Family Medicine Residency Program in the past. Dr. Hurtubise is also the Medical Director of the Wound Healing Center of Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center on Good Drive in Lancaster.
William B. Grosh, M.D.
Julie M. Burrowes, PA-C
Julie received her BS in Physician Assistant Science degree in 2000 from King’s College and graduated with honors.
Since graduation she has worked as a Physician Assistant in for 13 years. Currently she is working part-time at Heartland Family Health and enjoying her continuity of care that comes with working in family practice.
Julie is married and they have a son and daughter.
Marjorie A. Torchia, MSN, CRNP
Marjorie started in 1979 as LPN. Marjorie then received her BSN in 1988 from York College of PA and obtained her MSN and NP license from the University of PA in 1993.
Since graduation she has worked as a Nurse Practitioner for 17 years. Currently she is working part-time at Heartland Family Health and also on staff part-time at York College of PA in the student health clinic. And she serves as a preceptor for multiple nurse practitioner programs.
Marjorie is married to Dr. Michael Torchia, and she has two daughters, four stepsons and four grandchildren.
Polly “Sue” Gockley, CRNP
Sue is a graduate of Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing where she practiced nursing as an RN in the operating room for more than twenty years. She earned both a Bachelor and a Master of Science Degree at West Chester University. After degree completion at West Chester University she taught nursing at Harrisburg Area Community College.
Sue returned to Wilmington University to earn a Post Masters Certificate as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. The majority of her clinical practicum was completed at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. She is certified by the Americans Nurses Credentliaing Center.
Before Heartland Family, Sue worked with a private company of nurse practioners who cared for residents in long term care facilities.
